Welcome to Creative Bloggers

Creative Bloggers is dedicated to helping creatives connect online and continue creating in a supportive and expanding community.

If you're a creative blogger, you're invited to add your own blog to the list that best suits you. The list currently automatically lists alphabetically for ease of browsing, however if we grow larger (and names get too far down) we will implement random arrangement within each list - or break down to list into further specifics. When the need for this arises, we'll put it to a poll which you'll be able to vote on. If you'd like to add your blog to a creative pursuit not already listed, simply let me know in the comments below.

Hi, I'm Esther Aliu - a Textile Artist and Quilter. I have my own blog. 'Esther's Quilt Blog' and I've been blogging for 10 years now. At first I thought it might be a waste of time and in the early days it was little more than a way for me to keep myself updated and accountable - a kind of online journal. Since then, I've grown as a blogger and have 'met' the most wonderful people. It's made a huge difference in my creative journey. Today, my own blog and online quilt group and the friendships I've found through these connections are, without a doubt, my favorite quilting place to be.

So I know the value of finding 'your tribe' online through the power of blogging. I already read and follow many blogs - hundreds actually. But I think, there's always room for one more. I'm hoping to find new gems and discoveries among the lists and even expand and inspire my interests through browsing the talent of others in areas I haven't even attempted.

So if you're a blogger, go ahead and add your blog to the list, I can't wait to meet you :)

  2. How utterly amazing! <3 I am just so happy to find this extension of my tribe too... especially now I live in a place where I feel us quilters are relatively isolated.

  5. What a great idea. I fit over three categories, I've added to sewing, but I also do quilting and knitting and crochet.

  6. What a great idea. I started sewing all my own clothes three years ago. I started blogging about two years ago to encourage others when they are about to decide to make their own clothes as well. Besides clothes I make softs and useful objects. I love doing refashions, recycling and reusing discarded clothes. I'm an occasional knitter and crocheter. My blog is in two languages: English and Dutch. Would love to meet you at http://www.sewingalacarte.nl

  11. Thank you Esther, what a lovely a generous idea. I shall check everyone out later, I started mine a few years ago in order to help me improve my embroidery skills. I am lefthanded and it is difficult to find good instructions for the multitude of stitches that exist. I thought other lefty's might appreciate my instructions as well. I also chat about my quilting projects. www.lefthandednotions.com
